Dorset Council is seeking a provider to deliver a digital preservation and storage service for its archives. The Councils Dorset History Centre is dedicated to collecting and preserving the rich heritage of Dorset and looks after council records as well as personal collections for Dorset Council, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council. The Council is acting as the lead procurer of the service on behalf of a consortium of other local authorities (the list of current partners may be found in the tender documents). Whilst Dorset is the lead for the tendering process, we require a full on-line service which allows individual direct access by each partner authority.
