Website hosting - development and support

The Communications Team within Gloucestershire County Council is now looking to improve our website, and are considering new innovations. Any solution should be developed on Umbraco as an open source framework and any custom development becomes the property of Gloucestershire County Council who may release back to the community. Any solution must enable the Council to meet its legal obligations under GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. As part of this compliance, any solution must be able to demonstrate how the Councils records retention and disposal policies will be proactively managed. Any solution must have a proven ability to fully integrate with our existing IT technology and systems. The Council is interested to understand the full range of solutions available in the market, including how systems integrate with internal directories (AD FS) and current and future third-party systems (Jadu, Cadline MapThat, Microsoft365, SAP). Any solution must enable a level of self-service for the Council which should include the ability to set up subsites of the gloucestershire.gov.uk domain and develop page templates without input from supplier and to managing URLs and redirects.
